Sonja Proffit is a science fiction and fantasy novelist. She is currently attending Full Sail University, earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing. Sonja is also a classically trained guitarist. She has played guitar for 23 years. She also is a volunteer for the Dear Jack Foundation. They provide support to Adolescent and Young Adult cancer patients and survivors. Prior to returning to school she spent the last ten years working in the private sector in the Hospitality Industry.
